  29.             Polycat is the online catalog of Kennedy Library at Califor-
  30.             nia  Polytechnic  State University at San Luis Obispo, Cali-
  31.             fornia. It contains over 600,000 books, as well as  serials,
  32.             maps,  documents, media, computer software, senior projects,
  33.             and Cal Poly master's theses. The system  software  is  from
  34.             CLSI.

  38.             "telnet" to  "library.calpoly.edu"  (129.65.20.21).  At  the
  39.             menu, select "l" for Polycat, and follow the instructions on
  40.             the screen. The escape character is "control-d".

  44.             The online catalog has open  access.  However,  the  Kennedy
  45.             Library  reserves  the  right  to  restrict  access to local
